Memorial Hospital of Union County

Memorial Hospital of Union County and UnitedHealthcare of Ohio have entered into a multi-year contract, effective December 1, 2003, enabling local enrollees to continue to receive their healthcare services at the hospital. The two organizations had been negotiating the new contract for several months, with the goal of reaching agreement prior to the termination deadline of their original contract. The parties reached agreement last week.

The Marysville, Ohio based company has pledged $500,000 toward the $5.5 million project scheduled for completion in 2004.
