State Senator Gillmor Visits Memorial Hospital
3/3/2010 - Marysville, Ohio: State Senator Karen Gillmor (R-Tiffin) sits down with Memorial Hospital of Union County CEO Chip Hubbs to learn more about the independent community hospital located in Marysville. Hubbs shared that while many hospitals across the state continue to struggle financially, Memorial has managed to weather the economic storm by remaining practical in continuing to deliver exceptional service to the many patients served while also focusing on managing costs. They also talked about how the state’s recently enacted hospital franchise fee is negatively affecting so many facilities and local interest in developing a federally qualified health center.
