Overweight? Cholesterol? High Blood Pressure? Heart Burn? Diabetes? Heart Disease?
Join
50,000 graduates who know they are better off today. They participated
in an educationally intensive 60-day lifestyle intervention program
that turned their health around.
Pioneered by Dr. Hans Diehl and
endorsed by both the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine
(PCRM) and the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), the
CHIP program focuses on significantly reducing coronary risk factor
levels through adopting better health habits and making lifestyle
changes.
This nationally recognized program is being brought
straight to Memorial Hospital by Dr. Matthew Everett and a specially
trained team of staff, including a registered dietitian, exercise
physiologist, and disease management specialist.
CHIP graduates have experienced remarkable results, including:
- Dropped cholesterol levels by 10-20%
- Lost 6-12 pounds in 30 days
- Dramatically reduced or even eliminated diabetes and blood pressure medications
- Lowered risk of cancer, osteoporosis, and stroke
- Increased energy levels
- Improved quality of sleep
- Improved digestion
- Reduced depression
This seven-week program includes two health screens, two lifestyle
evaluations, personalized counseling, 16 classes, a textbook and
workbook, food demonstrations and samples, and a cookbook.
