As a father of four young children, I truly cannot comprehend what the Legge family has endured, and our hearts go out to them. Very rarely would there be so much emotion tied to a court case as there was with this one, and understandably so.
Fred Leess is an important member of our hospital family. Four members of my personal family have had surgeries performed by Dr. Leess. I have trusted him to perform my sinus surgery two years ago, and I have trusted him as the surgeon for three of my children. As a hospital CEO, I have the contacts and access to receive my care almost anywhere. Yet I chose Dr. Leess for my family at our hospital because he is a good physician and a good man, and I work with quality people who are excellent at their jobs. You can bet that I would not trust him with those I love the most if I did not think he was worthy of my trust. I do trust him, and would trust him again. I think everyone else should trust him too….
We decided years ago that we wanted Dr. Leess on our team, and that remains true today. We will continue to provide the support to Dr. Leess that he needs during this very difficult period, and our hearts and thoughts remain with the Legge family as they continue to mourn the loss of their children.
