In response to the community’s growing need for quality healthcare, Warthog Family Medicine, established by Deborah Wilson, MD, has expanded with the addition of two new physicians, Susan Delman, MD and Laura Kilofliski, MD to form a new family medicine practice.

Now operating as Optimal Family Health, the practice will see patients of all ages and provide professional care that is personalized to each patient’s individual needs, whether it is maintaining good health or managing a chronic condition to achieve an optimal level of health and wellness.

At the Warthog location, 498 London Ave, Suite B on the Memorial Hospital of Union County campus, patients can receive care from Dr. Wilson or Dr. Delman. A second location, the Mill Valley Medical Building at 17853 State Route 31, will be home to Dr. Kilofliski. Having two locations will increase accessibility for patients, making it more convenient than ever to receive quality care.

“As the Warthog Family Medicine practice grew, it became apparent that additional physicians and locations were needed to serve our growing community,” says Dr. Wilson. “It was time for the practice to evolve to meet that need and Drs. Delman and Kilofliski are a natural fit with their knowledge and desire to establish working relationships with patients.”

In addition to scheduled appointments, Optimal Family Health offers designated morning hours for “sick bay” appointments to existing patients in understanding the importance of quick treatment and relief when illness strikes.

Wanting to make a difference, Dr. Wilson chose to become a doctor and has found that there is never a dull moment in family medicine. Possessing a love for science and an appreciation for the fascinating way people are put together, she understands that to be a good family medicine physician you need a breadth and depth of knowledge. Building relationships with her patients is an important part of practicing medicine. “I really enjoy helping my patients improve their lifestyles and health,” she says. “It’s rewarding to help someone get a chronic disease under control and I especially enjoy watching my pediatric patients grow from babies into teens.”

Since childhood, Dr. Delman has felt a desire to help people and a love for the sciences. At an early age, she felt pursuing medicine as the best way to combine the two interests. She became drawn to family medicine during her residency because it offered a chance to help people over the entire span of their lives. “I enjoy seeing patients of all ages and being able to care for a wide variety of problems,” says Dr. Delman. “It’s rewarding to establish long-term relationships with my patients.”

A lifelong interest in the complexities of the human body inspired Dr. Kilofliski to pursue a career in medicine. Originally studying obstetrics and gynecology, she decided to make a switch to family medicine during her residency when she realized she would rather care for patients and their families long-term. “For me, the most rewarding aspect of family medicine is the continuity of care,” shares Dr. Kilofliski. “I get to know my patients over time and take care of multiple generations in a family.”

Both Dr. Delman and Dr. Kilofliski are currently accepting new patients. Most insurance plans are accepted. To schedule your appointment, call (937) 578-4004.
