Memorial Hospital of Union County and Marysville Orthopedics and Sports Medicine are pleased to welcome Timothy Lynch, DO to their staff.Beginning October 31, 2012, Dr. Lynch will see patients at Marysville Orthopedics and Sports Medicine alongside Dr. Mark Stover and Dr. Doug Skura. He will provide a full range of orthopedic and sports medicine services for patients of all ages with a focus on sports medicine.
Dr. Lynch has a special interest in the care of the athlete and surgical treatment that utilizes minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques. His expertise and special training in sports medicine and arthroscopy will play an important role in the expanding relationships between Memorial Hospital’s Elevate Sports Medicine services and local middle and high school athletics programs.
Dr. Lynch graduated from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. Following medical school, he completed his residency training in Cleveland at The Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital and completed his fellowship at Wellington Orthopaedic/University of Cincinnati Sports Medicine. Dr. Lynch is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Throughout his residency and fellowship, Dr. Lynch received an impressive list of honors and awards including the 2005 Outstanding Resident Award. He is a member of the National Osteopathic Honor Society and has been on Faculty at Ohio University as a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery for the last six years. His team and sports treatment experience spans all levels including high school athletes, the Cincinnati Bengals, University of Cincinnati, and medical coverage for the Revolution 3 Triathlon.
