This year’s contest was open to the fifth and sixth grade students at Creekview Intermediate School. One winner and two honorable mentions were selected by the hospital’s Board of Trustees, Medical Staff Officers, and Senior Leadership Team.
Announced at the school’s fall assembly, this year’s winner is sixth grader, Desiree Smith. For her artistic talents, she received a $50 Toys ‘R’ Us gift certificate and $50 for a savings account. Honorable mentions include sixth graders Olivia Delgado and Olivia Young, who each received $25 Toys ‘R’ Us gift certificates.

Memorial Hospital of Union County sponsored its eighth annual Holiday Card Contest for local students this fall. The contest is for the design of the various holiday cards used by Memorial Hospital, The Gables at Green Pastures, and the Union County Physician Corporation, which are sent to physicians, donors, and other members of the community.
