A generous donation from Liz Schlitz has funded the purchase of a Premie™ Blue Simulator with Smartskin™ Technology for the obstetrics department at Memorial Hospital of Union County.

A new health center is expanding in Union County. UnionStar, located at 773 South Walnut Street in Marysville, is a community health center providing primary care services for patients of all ages who are un- and underinsured. The clinic, the result of a collaborative effort between Memorial Hospital of Union County, the Union County Health Department, UnionStar Board of Directors, and Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC), will serve as an affordable healthcare option for residents who previously did not have access to a primary care doctor.
Memorial Hospital of Union County recently presented a $250 check to the Logan and Champaign Suicide Prevention Coalition as part of a fundraising effort of Memorial Hospital employee Amanda Stidam. The donation will also benefit the Here 4 Hope Coalition of Union County.
