Memorial Hospital of Union County and The Gables at Green Pastures are partnering with the national JustWalk™ program to offer free “Walk With a Doc” walking sessions to the community. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

Each hour-long session is led by a board-certified physician, staffed by exercise physiologists, and includes a complimentary healthy snack, free blood pressure check (if desired), and brief conversation about pressing health topics. There is no commitment or need for registration and participants can walk as much or little as they desire.

It’s not necessary to bring anything; you should simply wear a comfortable pair of walking shoes. In the case of inclement weather, call Memorial Hospital’s Health Center at
