Cardiopulmonary Services




Your quality inpatient and outpatient care is provided by respiratory practitioners who are licensed by the state of Ohio. Services offered include:

• EEG (Electroencephalography)
• EKG (Electrocardiography)
• Respiratory Therapy
• Sleep Diagnostics Center

EEG
Provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services related to neurologic disorders for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Ambulatory EEGs are also available and allow patients to go about their daily activities while their brain wave activity is monitored.

EKG
Provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic EKGs, cardiac stress testing and holter monitors.

Respiratory Therapy
Provides a full range of services to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. the department provides respiratory therapy in the intensive care unit, on the general floor care areas, in the emergency room and the pulmonary function laboratory. Specific services provided include:

• Ventilator management
• Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis
• Administration of medications by aerosol and other routes
• Chest physiotherapy
• Oximetry
• Intubation and extubation
• IPPB (Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing)
• Incentive Spirometry
• Aerosol therapy
• Bedside therapy
• Artificial airway care
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Bronchial hygiene
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Bi-level ventilation
• Continuous nasal CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure)

Availability:
Cardiopulmonary services are offered by our professional staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Appointments:
Either your physician's office can make your appointment or you can call on your own behalf.

Requirements:
A physician order is required.

Registration:
You must register with the patient access department in the main lobby, so please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment.
