Cardiovascular Lab
Accurate detection is key to saving lives when it comes to heart
disease. The Cardiovascular Lab at Memorial Hospital is a full-service
lab that provides non-invasive tests of the heart and circulatory
system including:
- M-Mode 2D Echocardiogram
- Transesophageal Echocardiogrram
- Stress Echocardiogram
- Carotid duplex imaging
- Arterial Doppler (upper and lower)
- Venous Doppler (upper and lower)

Location:
The Cardiovascular Lab is centrally located in Memorial Hospital. We
share a waiting room with the Cardiopulmonary department, so you will be
asked to report there after registering with Patient Access.
Appointments:
The majority of the time, your doctor will call us to schedule your
appointment and verify your insurance coverage. It’s also a good idea
for you to contact your insurance company at the number on the back of
your insurance card to verify your coverage.
Admission preparation:
Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to your appointment time to
register with the patient access department, located just inside the
MacIvor Entrance of the hospital. Remember to bring your doctor’s
written order for your tests and your insurance cards and driver's license or state ID.
No physical preparation is needed for cardiovascular lab testing. If
you have other tests scheduled on the same day, please follow any
instructions you have been given by that department.
