Sleep Diagnostic Services

Do you have difficulties sleeping? Are you an insomniac? Do you fall asleep, but wake up several times
through the night? Or do you have trouble staying awake? If the answer
is yes to any of these questions, the on-site sleep laboratory at
Memorial Hospital might be able to help. Our comfortable suites are
equipped with the latest in computer technology. While you rest, doctors who specialize in pulmonology and neurology will diagnose your
specific sleep disorder and help find solutions that will give you the
good night’s sleep that you've been missing.
Memorial Hospital’s Sleep Center is accredited by the
American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). To receive a five-year
accreditation, a sleep center must meet or exceed all standards for
professional health care as designated by the AASM. The accreditation process
involves detailed inspection of a center’s facility and staff, including an
evaluation of testing procedures, patient contacts, and physician training.
Additionally, the facility’s goals must be clearly stated and include plans for
positively affecting the quality of medical care in the community it serves.
Established since 2001 and renovated in 2007, the Sleep
Center offers a relaxing, spa-like ambience and features four comfortable
suites with the latest in amenities and computer technology, including Select
Comfort ® adjustable firmness beds, Sony ® flat screen
televisions with in-room cable, wireless internet, in-room mini-refrigerators,
infrared cameras for live video, private showers, and handicap accessibility.
